On Friday, Dad was in demand. Donuts for Dad was going on at both Abigail and John's schools. Abigail's was at 7:30, outside, and was a wild party of kids eating and running and playing on the playground with chuckling Dads trying to find coffee and feeling amazed at how much sugar glaze was on their children's clothes. John's was at 8:30 and much more civilized. It was held indoors with a book fair. John and Matt picked out books to read while eating donuts. Dad might not want to see another donut for a while.....kids really miss their schools today. Thankful.
