| This week we have had some beautiful sunny days for heading out doors. The kids have enjoyed painting. |

| They have gone to the zoo three times this week! Abigail told me on Monday that she did not get to see the flamingos, her favorite animal. I thought this was odd since they are right by the entrance....John and I went on Friday and sure enough the flamingos are nesting and the exhibit is blocked off! |

| John wanted to feed every animal we saw -- so we feed the bronze ones. |

| Abigail is still working hard on writing her name and other words and she still does an amazing job at drawing. |
 |
| Abigail did not get to enjoy the zoo with us so while John napped, she and I had a picnic out doors and shared valentines' cookies. |
 |
| On Saturday, all 4 of us went to the Fort Worth Stock Show. Both kids loved riding the ponies. Abigail did not like seeing all the chains and crops associated with the animal's handlers and she really did not like the smell. |

| John loved watching the handlers clean the sheep and cows. John wanted to grab a vacuum and clean everything. |
 |
| On Sunday, we explored the kindergarten of St. Andrews for next year. We meet the four kindergarten teachers and looked at class projects, meet future classmates. In two weeks we will visit Lily B as well! |
