We have just been so busy these days. We are running to soccer practice, swim lessons, little Gym, music class, soccer games, Sunday school....on and on and on....And oh no! There is homework too. With all this we have missed a few things (like a bath or book time) And we could all use a few more hours sleep. Even Abigail one morning asked if this could be the day we turn the clocks back and she could go back to bed. We quickly learned to do our homework one page a day to lessen the pain on the weekends. The other major improvement has been to do everything possible to get John a nap - even Matt, Sara and I helping at nap times. At night there have been PTA meetings, soccer pictures, girl scout meetings....so there has not been much picture time. But we have kept all the fun I promise.

John and Alicia spend a few hours every day at the zoo. A few of the zoo members even know their names.

Wednesday morning was amazing! John took his car for a ride down the block!
On Friday after UCC class, John took me to the zoo. We first stopped at a photo booth and took pictures (See below) and then on to his favorite new place. The Texas Wild West Shooting Range! It is $1.00 a game so we only played twice and then just imaginary play with the gun. And texted Daddy to search for a shooter game for John at home. Afterwards he showed me the baby monkey. It was a great afternoon trip. Afterwards we went home read books and a smoothie and then sang our bedtime songs on the way to picking up Abigail. She and I strolled and sang all the way home so that John was happy and sleepy and ready for his nap. John was ready to go for dinner and music and playground fun with Jimmy and Krissy that evening.

Week highlights - John and his love for PJ Masks. It is a new disney show on kid super heros. He can watch this show and do just about anything, like clean up his toys, stop bothering his sister, or eat green beans, for an episode of PJ Masks. Abigail in the bath tub singing at the top of her lungs, "God Bless the USA." Daily school announcements the children sing this song and say the Pledge of Allegiance and the Texas pledge too.
