John is a toddler. He likes to do things for himself. He wants to pick out his bowl, his cup and the food he eats. He wants to climb into the chair and he definitely wants to sit in the regular chairs. The high chair is the worst ever in his eyes. He wants to climb and scoot on the stairs. This is the one thing I am happy about as he has had no interest in them and I really had thought I would forever be carrying him up and down the stairs. He has always had a strong opinion on which book you might read him -- but now it can start a tantrum (so can the highchair). He even tried to climb out of his crib. He enjoys chasing after his sister, dancing to music, coloring and painting, playing out side and at the park. He is beginning to enjoy his school class, where he gets to do a lot of painting. His favorite song is Palo Palo -- he still enjoys Play the Drum. He is very independent and will often go and get a stool and get up to a cabinet to grab a book, some paper and markers, or attempt to wash the dishes in the sink.

| John loves to say "Cheese" and make this face when he sees me with the camera. |
He gives great hugs and kisses. He is very considerate and shares well. He adores his Sissy. He eats a wide array of foods but new big thing is fruit chews. Loves to sing Palo Palo song with Sissy, give Hi 5s and fist bumps, and touch every flag and stop sign around. He enjoys relaxing too -- especially bath time. This week he ran to the bath and I followed. As I drew up the water, he ran to the toys, grabbed a tea cup and ran to the refrigerator saying, "tea, tea" -- his blue gatorade, which he is allowed to have in tea cups in the bath.
