Flashback

So pregnancy brain has gotten the better of me -- there are so many times when I forget the camera -- like on our family walk today in the gorgeous weather, or at the park on Friday,  or the funny or amazing thing that Abigail says or does. Some things that amazed me this week were:
1.  Wednesday at school, Abigail decided she wanted to wear panties, she worked all day on peeing in the potty and kept her diapers dry all day (only lasted the day, but it is a start).
2.  Friday while visiting the allergist, he looked inside her ears.  Prior to looking he said, he was going to look for monkeys in her ears.  She said no not monkeys, birds.  Dr. McGehee looks for birds. She has not seen him in 4 months -- what a memory.
3. Abi's new favorite restaurant -- Torchy's Tacos.  It is a new restaurant with numerous specialty tacos,  queso, and fried chocolate chip cookies.  She loves the people watching, cheese and chips and especially the gooey cookies.  She even gets a love and affection high while eating the cookies.
4. Playing well - she has done a great job the last few weeks, sharing with others, controlling her anger and temper.  Friday she met a 6 year old, Claudia, at the park.  They played well together for 40 minutes, running, sliding, and hiding from Claudia's dad and siblings.
5. Climbing - she finally did it.  This weekend she climbed out of her crib.  She decided to sleep on the floor.  An hour later, she admitted it was hard and not nearly as comfortable as her crib.  She did not try it again at bedtime.   I think it was a win for all of us.
29 months - This evening, playing with blocks, listening to music and dancing.

19 months - first time on Daddy's shoulders.  Her excitement was infectious for everyone, but maybe a little painful for Matt's ears.

9 months - cruising in the closet.  We thought she was such a big girl.
9 weeks - the bumbo chair .
