We surprised Abigail today with the delivery of her big girl mattress. Her big girl bed was delivered in December, but had one issue after the next and really just sat in pieces on the floor for about a month. Two weeks ago, it was fixed thanks to a carpenter and Daddy with a power sander! So you can imagine Abigail's surprise to see a mattress, sheets and pillows on her bed.

| She was all giggles jumping about the bed, getting under the covers and trying out all the pillows. We were the bumpers insuring she did not fall out. |

| She even asked for bunny and monkey giraffe, told us to leave and turn out the lights. Without the rug, more pillows and guardrails, and a video camera or two, we just were not ready for that step. She is tucked into her crib. But what a fabulous response to the prospects of a big girl bed! |
