Dirty books, elephant and tiger mama

Abigail surprises us so much these days.  She makes us laugh and smile at the way she sees/interprets the world.  She really enjoys water these days -- likely thanks to our beach trip, swim lessons and the blazing hot sun outside.  So 'washing dishes' and baths have been a big hit around our house. 

Earlier this week, as we were getting out of the bath and putting the toys away, Abigail started saying, "No, no, no"  Yvette - "What's wrong?"  Abi - "Elephant must be with his Tiger Mama to go to sleep."
Yvette - "Elephant has a mama?"  Abi - "Yes, his Tiger Mama"  as she put them together, giving each a hug and kiss and in turn, they hugging and kissing each other good night. 

On Saturday, we were heading to the bookstore to get new books -- mainly for Mom and Dad's entertainment.  Abigail says, "Daddy we are going to the bookstore.  We have dirty books.  We have to get new books."  Matt says in horror, "Dirty books?"  Yvette's response, "We get a new bunny every time the bunny gets dirty, so 'dirty books'!
