When I came home from work each day this week, John was on the floor in the playroom playing with his toys. He has always smiled widely, giggling with twinkling eyes that have melted my heart. But beginning on Monday, he crawled to me, pulled up on to me and snuggled into my chest and gave me a big hug. It was amazing on Monday, so exciting that he did it again on Tuesday too. Today, again -- wow! But even better, is we will be together the rest of the week.
Abigail today said the best part of her day was bedtime. She gets to cuddle and read stories with her Daddy who she loves the most, and cuddle and kiss her Mama who she loves the best. So sweet and amazingly diplomatic. She even snuggles with a few stuffed animals - three of them whom she renames Matt, Yvette and John. John is always under the covers "pulling up" on Abigail's legs :)
