Yours, Mine, and all Ours

Many of the pictures in this post were taken by others -- including family, friends, teachers, and nannies --we are so thankful to receive these beautiful pictures and for each of these people in our children's lives.

Celebrating November and a hug from Slim

John is making huge progress in crawling -- it can happen any day now.  The first tooth is just brimming the surface, and he is eating three baby food meals a day with rice and oatmeal cereals, pears/apples/sweet potato/carrots/squash and now teething biscuits.  He looked especially grateful for the teething biscuit.  He has great hand control and did amazingly well eating it.  He only had one as the pack came with two and Abigail had to eat the other.
We are also reading more to John -- at bedtime and right before meals in his high chair.  He enjoys being able to turn the pages; he turns them toward his mouth, but it is a start.
Abigail was especially creative today with several hair accessories in her hair and a jewelry.  We danced for hours all dressed up in scarves and bows.  Wonderful few days!
