John is on the move

Hold him tight.  He is so loving.
Hold him tight.  He is on the move.
Rolling, scooting, crawling, and pulling up.
I am sighting, reaching, aiming and getting my toy -- and putting it right into my mouth.

Hold him tight.  He is so precious.
This week, John was really moving, faster than we anticipated.  He has not perfected the crawl, but he gets where he wants to go and very fast.  He is continuing to teeth. He is sitting up from the prone  position.  Babbling -- da-ta-eee and aaa--aach-aa-aa-aa.  Today he did get a tiny toy in his mouth, and coughed and sputtered.  Scary stuff for us.  He was his ever happy self --  enjoying the warm fire in the playroom, crisp chilly outings, and feeding his mum mums to Tess.

Visiting the zoo is often a weekly event for Abi -- this week she visited with several friends from UCC.
Marie Jose, Dylan, Connor, and Abi spent four hours together exploring the zoo.  That is the longest trip ever.

In truth, they had little interest in the animals, mainly enjoying each others snacks and Connor's wagon.

We spent ten minutes trying to get all the kids in one shot around the kangaroo --Dylan is directly behind the Kangaroo in this picture.  We never got the four to all look forward and we finally had to move on.

We visited the crocodile last -- he was definitely hungry and our little ones were very interesting to him.
Abigail shared a little too much at the zoo and woke up that night with a GI bug, which she shared with me too :( So we kept things easy this weekend -- it was cold and wet anyway.  We made a fire, went out a few times to run errands, picked up some new Christmas ornaments (think Clark Griswold and stay tuned ....) and watched football.
