Saturday the three of us enjoyed warm weather and headed out to the Fort Worth zoo. Abigail was more interested in our icee cups and the other kids than the animals. She did really enjoy spending so much time outside -- she definitely loves the outdoors. And she is a people watcher. It was such a beautiful day and the animals were enjoying it as much as we were. ...But today, it was a snow day -- and tomorrow and Thursday will be ice days. Walks are again curtailed. Thankfully Abigail is all smiles, bounces and laughter and seems not to even notice her indoor confinement. She and I do want to send a very special happy birthday to Poppa today. Happy Birthday, we love you.
