This was a hard week for me. I was dragging. We had lots of things on our to do list but all we were doing was living for the weekend. We were heading towards a week off with the kids. The kids had a few home days just hanging out with Alicia playing hide and seek, fort, and coloring and pretend cooking. Wednesday the kids went to the science center, and Matt and I had a dinner out before putting the kids to bed. Thursday, Abigail had the best ever class with Miss Rachel. It was her last class. We brought cupcakes to celebrate and Abigail said she was going to the best job ever. Miss Rachel said her kicks are super strong and her back stroke is amazing for her age. She even jumped off the block a few times! We hugged Miss Rachel goodbye, but we may see her around Fort Worth. She is working at JPS! Friday they had a play date at Pump it Up with Harlow and her baby brother, Caleb. Abigail and Harlow rekindled the old friendship quickly. That evening we had a pizza party with the neighbors, Jeff, Lauren, Hudson and Sawyer. We had a great time and it was a great start to the weekend. The next morning we packed up for Austin to see Mackey and Spencer and Yeti and Greta. We all had a great time! Abigail loved all of Mackey's sparkling jewelry, fun accessories, and decorations. John had a blast with two toy guns, the sweet star wars toothbrush gift, Spencer's guitar room (AKA John's bed room), and just running up and down the stairs with the dogs. We all loved the restaurants with outdoor seating next to playgrounds, sand boxes, hammocks, and table tennis and the spring fed pool and the boat ride on Lake Austin. The kids had a blast jumping in the lake off the boat and we all enjoyed a good swim. Abigail met Max Faludi the last evening and the two hit it off well, matching energy, daredevil enthusiasm, and anticipation in seeing the bats. The bats gave birth instead of taking flight, but still a cool event to be part of despite never actually seeing it.

| On the way to the last swim class with Miss Rachel, Abigail was trying to control her emotions. She was sad, she also wanted to do a great job on the last day. She asked to look at a picture of her jumping off the diving block while I drove the 7 minutes to her swim class. Little did I know that she decided to take pictures of her emotions, 1247 of them, happy, sad, scared, shock, over and over again. 1247 pictures in 7 minutes! |

After jumping off the boat over and over again and swimming in the lake, Daddy and Uncle Spencer were definitely the coolest guys around.
