Easter week at Jobe and Bebe's house

I love love Easter time.  I think it is the crafts -- decorating eggs and colored bunnies and chicks.  It is even more fun when I am the recipient of the amazing crafts.  This one is from John.

Wednesday prior to Easter, Abigail and John had an Easter party and hunt at school -- Abigail might love the pretty Easter dresses better than the crafts....and she is all about decorating and designing.

Before we knew it -- we were ready to head to Joby and Bebe's house!  The kids were ready Wednesday night as soon as we pulled out the suitcases, and they eagerly filled up their suitcases and backpacks for the mornings flight.

As soon as we got there - Abigail was surveying Bebe's treasures and John had every hose and water receptacle filled with water.  They even teamed up to beautify the fountain with excess water and flower petals.

Lizard hunting was a big part of our outdoor time.
Abigail decorated two lizard houses and the lizard catchers filled up the houses with confined guests.  This was the first lizard home.  We found it had to be abandoned as it was a drowning hazard when John filled the house with water.  Unfortunately, a lot of lizards were harmed.
Jobe and John had a great time exploring all of Jobe's cool tools -- water guns, spray pumps, power washer, and the golf cart.

The vacuum cleaners indoors also were a big hit.   John is still asking for Bebe's green vacuum for a birthday gift.

Saying hello to the peacock at Gator Cove.

Sweets were plentiful on this trip -- two visits to the ice cream shop, M&Ms, and jelly beans.  This is and M&M smile.

Easter morning after an Egg Hunt.

After eating most of the candy from the egg hunt, we had a happy chocolate and candy dance-off.

Teese gave Abigail a makeover.  They bonded and Abigail came with me to Teese's house  to drop her off.  She toured her home and asked if she could have just about everything, or asked her if she could buy the whole house.  It reminded me of me at that age -- although I was a bit more patient or polite, I just asked if I could inherit it! Haha.

It was a great vacation and everyone had fun.

John has asked everyday for us to drive to Bebe's house.  And they are both requesting a puppy like Rocky.

Watch out lizards and caterpillars -- we will be heading over again soon!
