17 months!

Curious
Happy

Loving
Imaginative

Loves to play.

Again and again.
Abigail, Abi as she calls herself, at 17 months:  She has a great happy demeanor, but you do have to give her several minutes in the morning to wake up before she gets going.  But as soon as she is ready to eat, she is on the move and eager for the day.
She is very intelligent -- she is really studying shapes and colors and trying to recite numbers and the alphabet.  She has mastered circle, heart, star, triangle, oval and diamond.  Rectangle and squares seem a little dull to her.  She loves to name things these days by color -- pink, purple, green, yellow and white are her favorite.  She also is great at problem solving.  Today she wanted cereal, but she forgot the word -- tried several and realized that she wasn't getting it correct.  So she asked for a bowl, then a spoon, then milk in the bowl and then I realized she wanted cereal.  And she and I were very happy to eat cereal on the kitchen floor at 9 am (second breakfast).
She is trying to get pronouns too -- she goes over mine and yours repeatedly.  I love when she comes up to me, arms outstretched saying, "Hold you"  Another favorite is dolls, swaddling, cuddling, wrapping and rocking them and putting them 'Night Night'
Abi loves pictures -- she likes to look through old pictures and she points to Mama, Daddy, Abigail, Bebe, Joby, Sean, and Chris.  She also knows GiGi, Matt's Mom, in pictures.  She knows her school teachers by name and her ten classmates and greets them by name and says goodbye too.
